With a Bachelor of Science double major degree in Earth Science (Concentration in Atmospheric Science) and Global and Environmental Change, I'd like to further strengthen my technical expertise with a career in meteorological sciences or another closely related field.  I'm actively seeking an entry-level position that would allow me to "get my foot in the door" as a career professional.  I would like to eventually pursue a graduate degree in meteorology, but gaining professional experience is my priority.

I first became interested in weather after my childhood experience of the iconic Blizzard of 1996.  I'm especially passionate about winter weather because of that particular memory, but I'm also fascinated by cold weather patterns outside of the winter months.  Cold fronts tend to produce stormy weather when mixing between two thermal air masses between the warm moist tropics and cool dry arctic northern latitudes collide to develop cyclonic low pressure centers as storms in the Mid-Latitudes.  These processes interact most often during the winter, but can also occur during any other season.
